I offer you this sublime vintage romalo verzoloni lamp from the 1960s/70s. In glazed ceramic, signed r. Verzolini, a renowned italian ceramist from pesaro (italy). This unique piece features an artistic design with blue-green glazes and engraved patterns, representing 2 stylized faces, organic shapes and solar symbols. The signature affixed under the wooden base, “r. Verzolini” refers to romolo verzolini, an italian ceramist born in pesaro in 1939. Graduated from the art institute of pesaro in 1956, he gained experience in various ceramic workshops before opening his own studio in 1960. His workshop, named studio errevi, produced ceramic and repoussé copper works, characterized by a contemporary and artisanal aesthetic. His creations are distinguished mainly by ceramics, but also by pieces in enameled copper. Modern shapes with enamels in varied shades, often inspired by abstract art. The neck has an old crack glued back in time which does not alter its general appearance in any way. A unique, authentic and resolutely vintage piece. A sure favorite!.
