Mid-Century Modern Scandinavian teak nightstand, 1950s

This modernist night table was manufactured in sweden during the 1950s. It is finished with teak wood in honey brown color. This kind of wood has a high content of natural oily substances, which makes it highly water-resistant. The cabinet has one pull-out drawer and an open shelf. This piece has a minimalist form with a decorative character from the scandinavian design from the mid-century modern era. The bedside table is in original vintage condition. It has minor traces of age, small scratches and a natural patina.
