Art Deco Serving Trolley with Pull-Out Trays by H. Pander & Zonen, 1920

An Art Deco serving trolley by H. Pander & Zonen, the renowned Amsterdam furniture makers, designed with a clean, architectural silhouette. The frame is finished in a richly striped dark wood veneer, with a frieze drawer fitted with long brushed metal handles and a lower shelf for bottles, glasses or books. A clever detail sets this piece apart: two pull-out side trays slide out from beneath the top, each set with a black faux marble surface veined in cream, doubling the serving space when needed. The trolley moves easily on four metal castors. In good condition with normal signs of age and use, consistent with its history. A refined and practical piece of Dutch design, ideal as a bar cart, serving trolley or side table in a dining room or living space.
