3313 – imposing baccarat and ravinet d'enfert biscuit maker early 20th century, not stamped since before 1936 but listed f.2042 in the baccarat catalog of 1933 plate no. 41 (see photo), this imposing and extremely rare biscuit maker in highly cut crystal wide flat rounded ribs and its silver metal cover hallmarked by the ravinet d'enfert goldsmith (rd separated by a clover leaf) in good condition. No cracks or chips with just tiny micro-scratches from normal use attesting to its age. Chamfered edge without chipping. Non-dented lid with orange bakelite fretel. Beautiful transparency and light refraction. Width 222 mm X 90 mm without cover, 138 mm with. Weight 2150 g. For information, the goldsmith founded in 1845 by e. Tonnelier acquired by louis ravinet (1854-1925) and charles d'enfert (1865-1960) took its name in 1882 and ceased its activity in 1984. It collaborated many times with the prestigious baccarat crystal factory.
