Vintage bistro chair published by the famous French manufacturer Baumann in Colombier-Fontaine, dating from the 1950s-1960s. This seat stands out for its compact size, ideal for optimising space in a kitchen, studio, or around a moderately sized dining table. Its structure is entirely made of steam-bent solid beech, with a short, curved backrest providing good support. With its simple lines, curved reinforcements under the seat, and balanced silhouette, it perfectly illustrates post-war café and brasserie furniture. It is a choice piece to enhance a Mix & Match trend of mismatched chairs around a farmhouse table or in a contemporary interior, without cluttering the visual space. The beech structure is robust. Its original patina reflects several decades of use, giving it all its vintage charm. An authentic seat, ideal as a dining chair, office chair, or extra seating. 📏 Dimensions: Height: 77cm. Seat height: 47cm. Width: 43cm. Depth: 53cm. Seat depth: 39cm. Very good condition, particularly noting on this piece: The wood shows a beautiful patina as well as some signs of age and minor wear, consistent with its age, which contribute to its authenticity.
