Large vintage Venetian style engraved mirror, 81 x 53 cm, 1950

This vintage wall mirror is in the Venetian style tradition, recognizable by its etched glass frame and star-cut floral relief decorations. Likely made around 1950, it features an elegant fretwork border, typical of post-war Venetian mirrors. The frame is decorated with geometric and floral motifs etched into the glass, with relief elements positioned at the upper and lower ends. The central mirror is partially altered: several areas show pitting, loss of silver, and oxidation stains in the lower right-hand section. A restoration is visible at the top left, where a chip has been filled with resin.
