Qingdao - Antique Chinese buffet in solid elm no. 4

This antique Chinese sideboard is a unique piece, made from a period structure of solid elm. Originally, these large chests were used for storing rice and opened from the top via one or more hatches, which are now sealed. It consists of five doors, carefully cut from the existing facade, opening onto added interior shelves for everyday functional use. This artisanal work allows the piece to harmoniously integrate into a wabi-sabi, rustic, or minimalist interior, while providing ample storage space. Dimensions: H 89cm X W 222cm X D 46cm.
