Qingdao - Antique Chinese buffet in solid elm number 1

This antique Chinese sideboard is a unique piece, made from a period structure of solid elm. Originally, these large chests were used for storing rice and opened from the top via one or more hatches, which are now sealed. It consists of five doors, carefully cut from the existing façade, opening onto added interior shelves for functional everyday use. This craftsmanship allows the piece to harmoniously integrate into a wabi-sabi, rustic, or minimalist interior, while providing ample storage space. Dimensions: H 91cm X W 220cm X D 46cm.
