Beautiful old mounted deer head with glass eyes, red deer bust with antlers, 14-ender, mounted on an oak shield, vintage taxidermy trophy from the second half of the 20th century, this animal comes from vireux-molhain, a commune in the french department ardennes. Stately animal, mounted with respect, natural look and pose, a real eye-catcher in your interior! In good vintage condition, the ears are somewhat dried out as is often the case with vintage taxidermy, but not disturbing, the front 2 branches on the right side were broken off due to a fight with another deer, in other words this happened when the animal was still alive, check the photos for more details!
