Mid-Century French Brass Wall Sconces with Bullrush Design and Opaque Glass Shades. This elegant pair of mid-century French wall lights showcases the refined craftsmanship and organic design sensibilities of the 1950s. Each sconce features a warm, golden brass frame adorned with beautifully sculpted bullrush (cattail) motifs, adding a subtle naturalistic touch that enhances their vintage appeal. The opaque glass shades diffuse light gently, creating a soft, atmospheric glow. The lights have French 2-core wiring and each sconce takes 2 large bayonet B22 light bulbs. The lights are in vintage condition with some light tarnishing to the metalwork. The shades are complete with no chips or cracks, just age-related marks. One of the backplates is missing, so you would need to replace this for wall mounting. Fittings not included.
