Vintage modernist desk in wood & tubular metal - Spirol Edition

Iconic of the 1950s, this asymmetrical vintage desk is produced by the famous French company Spirol (with the original patented assembly stamp present inside the drawer). It features the iconic modernist lines of the era, in the spirit of Jacques Hitier's tubular creations: A tubular structure in black lacquered steel incorporating a side shelf/magazine holder on the left. A suspended wooden cabinet with 3 drawers on the right, with original metal handles. Dimensions: Overall: W 110 cm × D 60 cm × H 75 cm. Side shelf: W 50 cm × D 22 cm. Drawer cabinet: W 34.5 cm × D 54 cm. Condition & Renovation Option: The desk is sold in its original condition, structurally sound and unrestored, with a lovely authentic patina. (If you would like it fully restored, sanded or revarnished to your taste, a custom renovation quote can be provided upon request before shipping).
