Renovated vintage desk, Scandinavian style, 1950s-60s.

Here is a lovely vintage desk with a distinctly Scandinavian style. Its tapered black metal legs and clean lines perfectly illustrate the aesthetic of the era. A unique feature of this piece: its body, originally a bedside table (see last photo), has been completely reimagined as a compact desk. The top, made of oak veneer, was chosen in the same wood type and shade as the drawer column, creating perfect harmony between the two elements: it is impossible to guess that it was originally a bedside table. A matte black edge highlights the top and accentuates the line of the legs. Its original handles, carefully cleaned, elegantly accentuate its three drawers, topped with a practical open niche for storage. Compact and functional, this desk offers a pleasant workspace, ideal for an office, a bedroom, or a telecommuting space in a living room or hallway. Fully renovated with care, the piece has been meticulously sanded and then protected with a light oak matte varnish to enhance the natural shades of the oak veneer, ensuring perfect unity between the top and the body while providing good everyday protection.
