Pair of Confidential armchairs by Alberto Rosselli for Saporiti 1970

Beautiful pair of confidential armchairs designed by italian architect alberto rosselli in 1972 for saporiti italia. These confidential armchairs are iconic pieces of the 1970s, recognizable by their ingenious design showing a functional connection between the backrest and the cushion, characteristic elements of the confidential series. The structure is made of solid wood, and the seats are supported by high-density foam cushions, which offer a very comfortable seating experience. These armchairs have been completely restored, the seat foams replaced and reupholstered with a light blue herringbone fabric by pierre frey. Alberto rosselli was a renowned architect, known in particular for his partnership in the architectural firm studio ponti-fornaroli-rosselli (pfr), from 1952 to 1976.
