Here's an unusual object that won't leave anyone indifferent; you either love it or you don't, but you'll definitely look at it! A very beautiful and large alabaster light column, in an antique style, that can highlight a vase, a potted plant, or a statue, and will also provide ambient lighting in the evening (see last photos)! All while showcasing the stone's veining. The top is removable, revealing a nut which, once unscrewed, allows you to separate the pieces until you reach the bulb (a 13mm wrench is all you need). It has a foot switch. I would date this lamp to the 80s or 90s. The different pieces are sculpted, sometimes simply with fluting, sometimes in a more elaborate way. It's in good overall condition, the electrical components are functional; I tested it, and the bulb lights up. The stone column has no significant chips or cracks, but between the gray veining, the stone's inherent imperfections, and the chiseling and tool marks, it's difficult to distinguish what is original and what is the result of an impact. To me, only the small marks on the base of the foot could be attributed to impacts; these are minimal and barely noticeable. There is also a small yellow stain on the top of the shaft that I haven't been able to remove. This column measures 66.5 cm in height, 21 cm in diameter at the top, and 24 cm in diameter at the base, and weighs approximately 12 kg. I believe I can ship it, but I will only offer Colissimo shipping (which will require a few days for me to gather the necessary materials for very secure packaging). However, for such an item, I would prefer collection from my home or delivery (either by myself, depending on the distance, or via Cocolis). Let's discuss this before ordering. I added some photos because the first ones were taken under a hazy sky.
