Antique German Pine Art Nouveau Cabinet with Two Drawers, circa 1910
An antique Art Nouveau cabinet made of solid pine, originating from Germany and dating to circa 1910. The cabinet features two drawers above a cupboard with two doors and an interior shelf. Its decorative door panels and distinctive wood grain give the piece its character. The restoration focused on the cabinet’s joinery and structure. The joints were repaired, the cabinet was stabilised, and the drawers and doors were adjusted to function smoothly. The original hardware and locks were also repaired and are in working order. The surface was cleaned and protected with shellac and wood oil. Its original patina and signs of age—including small cracks, areas of wear and minor imperfections—have been carefully preserved, retaining the cabinet’s authentic character. Condition: Structurally stable and fully functional, with authentic age-related surface wear and natural patina.
