Three sets of vintage plates from Creil Montereau, Mulhouse model, created by Primavera. The big exceptional plus is the “moon” plates made of hand-painted earthenware. A floral crescent moon, straight from the tables of yesteryear. These ten hand-painted earthenware plates feature a fresh floral design and an improbable shape that lies between a half-moon and an elegant parenthesis. Serving or supplementary pieces, they nestle, stack, and stand out: typically the kind of detail that is no longer found… and cannot be copied. Typical of mid-20th century French earthenware, often produced in the factories of Quimper, Pornic, or Sarreguemines, but this specific floral version is quite rare. The hand-painted decorations, with edges highlighted in blue, green, and pink, and the crescent shape designed to fit into a large round dish or to serve à la carte on elegant tables — make it a true curiosity. With 10 examples of each and in impeccable condition, it is nearly impossible to find. In the lot, you will find here ten half-moon plates, ten dessert plates, and ten deep plates. Enough to set a radiant table all year round. A soup tureen, five coasters, and two jam pots are also available. Fast and careful shipping is possible only with a carrier.
