The dessert service from the cerenne workshop in vallauris is an attractive set that charms with its twelve 20-centimeter plates, accompanied by a large 30-centimeter round dish. Made of ceramic, this service is distinguished by its yellow and brown glaze, decorated with figures of provençal santons, each character being accompanied by its name in provençal patois. The cerenne workshop, directed by charles rené, marked its era from 1944 to 1959 by creating remarkable works, such as a prestigious service for the duke and duchess of windsor. His creations seduced a refined clientele, including the famous prince ali khan, thus attesting to the craftsmanship and originality of this emblematic vallauris workshop. Very good condition, some scratches on the back of some plates (see photos).
