Counterweight suspension "Fujiyama" by Th. Valentiner, Copenhagen, Denmark

Elegant Danish counterweight pendant, model "Fujiyama", published in Copenhagen by Th. Valentiner in the 1960s. With its wide conical reflector and clean lines, this pendant perfectly embodies the timelessness of Scandinavian design. The brass diffuses a warm and subtly golden light, while the visible counterweight provides a visual signature that is both elegant and functional. Its ingenious pulley system allows for easy adjustment of the shade height up to a maximum cable height of 1.60 metres (from the canopy to the reflector), making it ideal above a table, kitchen island, or in a room with a beautiful high ceiling, such as a staircase or entrance hall. Weighing 4.6 kg, which attests to the high quality of its brass construction, the pendant retains the original label from the manufacturer Th. Valentiner, confirming its authenticity.
