Suspended globe lamp in glass from the German space age by Erco.

Vintage design. Rare glass suspension globe from the Space Age by ERCO. A simple and elegant mid-century light fixture made of glass and aluminium. The glass body reveals the inner workings of the conical reflector and the cover of the polished cylindrical aluminium socket. The main light is directed downwards. A portion of the light passes laterally through the holes in the reflector. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use. The lamp is originally made of brushed aluminium. This has been polished by a craftsman to a mirror finish here, giving a whole new quality of light.
