Ice Cube Glass Lamp by Putzler circa 1970

A marvel straight out of the 1970s. This is the Peill & Putzler glass ice cube lamp; an icon of vintage design. Created by the German brand Peill & Putzler, renowned for its expertise in glassmaking, this lamp is distinguished by its glass imitating the sculpted appearance of ice. Its structured glass captures the light in a fascinating way, creating beautiful shadow plays. Perfect for a cozy atmosphere in a living room, a kitchen or even an arty touch in an office. This table lamp, both artistic and functional, is very popular with vintage design lovers and collectors. The original “Putzler” label is stuck on the front of the lamp (see photo). It is in very good working order with some signs of use. The resin bulb block located under the lamp has a slight play, but once correctly installed, the lamp remains stable.
