This is an original iconic piece not reissued in this color. Made the cover of the reference book "the utopia of all plastic". Dorothee becker, born in 1938 in aschaffenburg, germany, studied languages at the universities of frankfurt and munich, before moving to london and paris and settling in california in 1960. She returned to germany with her husband ingo maurer, successfully marketed uten.silo until 1989, which housed practical and well-designed everyday objects, and continues to create until today.
