Vintage square Lumax catchall in thick transparent glass 11 x 11 x 6 cm

Vintage square vide-poche or ashtray signed Lumax, made of thick transparent moulded glass. Its sober and massive geometric design, with modernist lines and softened angles, evokes the decorative productions of the 1970s. This model is sometimes cautiously attributed to the world of Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand for Lumax / Saint-Gobain, without formal documentation allowing for a certain attribution. The piece measures approximately 11 cm on each side and 6 cm in height. The glass shows some slight signs of use and discreet micro-scratches visible depending on the light, as well as a very discreet micro-chip on one side, visible in the detail photos. No cracks. Overall in good condition, with beautiful transparency and a substantial weight giving it an elegant decorative presence.
