Its multiple factories were born in the seventeenth century: the manufacture de faïence du moulin des loups; the faience of saint-amand-les-eaux, the faience and porcelain of saint-amand-orchies-hamage, the grands établissements céramiques saint-amand and hamage nord and ceranord which closed the ball in 1962 with the closure of the manufacture de faïence et de porcelaines.
