Rectangular antique 19th c mirror with geometric pattern

A French gilt wood rectangular mirror from the end of the 19th century, with geometric motifs. This tall rectangular mirror features a golden finish with red undertones, geometric etched effects, and a wooden frame decorated with gesso and gilded with gold leaf. The frame has pearl beading on the interior perimeter and dates from about 1880. The glass is original, showing some small weathered spots. The frame is in good condition with a beautiful antique patina. This antique mirror has a modern look and will make a fantastic decorative accent in any interior. Condition: Wear is consistent with age and use. Overall good condition, with usual wear, scratches, minor losses to gilding and some (very) small weathered spots in the glass.
