Beautiful set of (2) MG5 chairs by Matteo Grassi, very well made, the quality is there and is nothing compared to the deteriorated leather replicas of Breuer replicas. These authentic chairs bear the signature of Matteo Grassi's name embossed on the leather. They bear witness to the modern Italian discipline that will make them forever timeless. The tubular chrome steel frame is shaped into an innovative cantilever shape, the chrome is in very good condition too. The overhang acts like a spring, adding flexibility and comfort thanks to the stitched leather seats and backs. The backrest, seat and armrests are upholstered in thick black leather and in excellent condition. It is stitched with saddle stitch, a two-needle sewing technique, very popular because it is more solid and durable. We will highlight the presence of two metal hoops with screw threads under the armchairs. They allow you to quickly and easily adjust the tension of the leather and therefore the firmness of the seat. Note that the latter seems suspended, due to the absence of vertical feet at the rear. This design, in addition to bringing an airy feel to this seat, also offers the advantage of providing flexibility: it will adapt to the position of its user.
