Christofle, Paris. Magnificent table centrepiece, dish, planter. In silvered bronze. Rich Rocaille decoration, resting on 4 feet with scrolls topped with angel wings. The sides adorned with medallions marked MB The handles decorated with cherub heads in a radiant sun. Late 19th century. Later glass lining. Master silversmith Christofle's hallmark underneath. A very beautiful piece from the prestigious house of Christofle. Height: 13cm. Length: 43.5cm. Width: 24cm. Very good condition.
