This impressive scepter adorned with a wooden female figure, known as a “Bamana Fertility Doll, ” is an authentic piece from Senegal. The figurine rests on a conical base of solid wood. Its cylindrical, slimmed body is distinguished by its finely drawn chest, characteristic of these creations. The piece is adorned with perforated brass details that adorn the body and head.
