The fluted baluster shaft rests on a richly decorated square base with relief floral motifs. The wide, scalloped bobeche is equipped with a central spike designed to hold a thick candle. The whole piece draws on the decorative vocabulary of antique candlesticks, blending neoclassical and Gothic Revival inspirations. The verdigris patina highlights the reliefs and contrasts with the brown-black background. With a height of 32.5 cm and weighing nearly 1.9 kg, the piece is particularly stable and has a strong decorative presence. The candlestick disassembles into three parts.
