Old fireplace servant shield with 2 tools

A charming vintage fireplace tool set in the shape of a shield, which will bring a heraldic and warm touch to a living room, in front of a hearth or on a console. The shield, made of glazed ceramic with lustrous copper and golden reflections, realistically imitates hammered metal. It is adorned in relief with two diagonal bands punctuated by nails and three rampant lions, in a very decorative neo-medieval spirit, and rests on a matching rectangular base. On the reverse, glazed brown, a metal bar with two hooks holds the accessories, discreetly hidden behind: a natural bristle brush and a coal tongs with claw-like ends. Their copper handles in the shape of a shield echo the striped pattern of the shield. A small size, ideal for an apartment fireplace, which allows you to keep the necessary tools for maintaining the fire within reach. Sold as is: A chip on the ceramic, slight wear on the glaze, signs of use on the tools. (shield) H 32 X W 26.5 cm (tools) 33-34-36 cm.
