Superb antique glazed ceramic jar, attributed to Fès and signed Serghini underneath. A decorative Moroccan piece with a beautiful presence, featuring a monochrome blue design on a white/grey background, with a spherical body, a button lid, and rich traditional geometric ornamentation. Traditionally used as a butter pot or storage container, this model can now serve as a decorative box, jewellery box, spice jar, or collector's item. Period: mid-20th century, around 1950. Origin: Fès, Morocco. Signature: Serghini underneath. Material: glazed ceramic / earthenware. Dimensions: H 24 cm X diameter 15 cm. Weight: 1.290 kg. Condition: good vintage condition, with signs of use consistent with age: about ten chips on the edge, small colourations, missing glaze, bubbles and manufacturing cracks, without impacting the beauty of the piece.
