Covered pot, cooking pot, in enameled stoneware by jean marais (1913-1998). Vintage ceramic from vallauris, 1960s 1970s. Brown and shaded tones. Signed “jean marais”. Known for his acting skills, jean marais discovered ceramics when he visited pablo picasso in his studio in vallauris, the capital of art ceramics and pottery on the french riviera, in the 1950s. Good condition, no chips, see photos. Height with lid 20 cm width at handles 27 cm.
