In this series of works, I explore the powerful simplicity of minimalism combined with a play of materials. I imagine, then layer on paper, abstract shapes that overlap in a visual dance on this pleasantly textured rag paper. The nuances of color on the stitched square in overlapping invite a balanced dynamism. Framed under glass in oak-finish aluminum. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
