Crazy Shapes No. 9

As its name suggests, this series of works on paper is intended to be festive and playful! Like acrobatic figures, I work with accumulations of balancing and slightly crazy shapes, in a color palette that exudes joy and good humor: ) The stitched square in superposition, a signature element in my work on paper, energizes the composition with a play of transparency. Technique: acrylic, pencil and cotton thread sewn on cotton rag paper. Framed under glass in oak-finish aluminum. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
