This very unusual 20th-century Italian pair of wood doors comes from a Florentine house. The front of each rectangular door panel is lacquered in a brick red faux porphyry marble, very realistically painted with small white and black dots throughout the red surface, and framed with a simply molded gilt frame using gold leaf technique. The original forged golden brass handles are centered by a deeply carved oval-shaped giltwood frame. The doors are unframed on the back, plain brick red lacquered, with round-shaped wood handles. Original red lacquered iron hinges are present, and both doors open inward. These doors serve as the perfect versatile architectural element to embellish any room in your home. They can be used for an entrance, a living room, a library, a walk-in closet, or adapted as an eccentric room divider. The faux porphyry lacquer recalls the neoclassical period, while the golden details provide a modern and precious touch, adaptable to any type of furnishing. Measurements: Doors #1: Each door width 54 cm, height 2 m, depth 8 cm. Doors #2: Each door width 51 cm, height 176 cm, depth 6.5 cm. The price is per item (1 item = 2 doors). Items made of rosewood are subject to a special export process that may extend the delivery time by an additional 2 to 4 weeks.
