Travel trunk "titan" e&m malard, paris, 30-40s, 100 cm

Old travel trunk, model "titan" e&m malard, paris, probably dating from the years 1930-1940. The trunk is 100 cm long, 50 cm wide, 52 cm high. In vintage state of conservation. The trunk is made of a synthetic material imitating leather, perhaps an oilcloth for the trunk and a molded synthetic material for the lid. Very light with reinforcements in wood, leather and metal, riveted. The interior is clean, see the detail photos. Note. Part of one of the wooden slats is missing underneath as well as two brass reinforcements on one side (under the trunk). Leather straps are worn. One of them is incomplete. The edges of the upper part curl a little. The manufacturer's brand is still visible as well as the former owner's label. A decorative or utilitarian object with a lot of style and a beautiful natural patina.
