Engraving The great Toucan of Brazil number 7 Jacques Barraband

Framed engraving of a toucan, "le grand toucan du brésil n°7". Inscription also at the bottom of the work "barraband pt" and "de l'imprimerie de rousset" and "perée sculpt. The bird is depicted perched on a tree branch. The engraving is framed in a glass frame and black color. The frame is of the "marie-louise" type of red color. Jacques barraband (1768-1809) was a french painter, draftsman and illustrator, specializing in zoology. Note: the engraving and the frame are in a very good condition, some really very light traces of moisture, small yellow dots barely visible on the white paper (see photo).
