Very beautiful chest of drawers in blond oak and blond oak veneer in art deco style from the 50s/60s. It indeed offers Art Deco elements in the rounded corners, its superb curved and offset legs but we are beginning to feel the influence of the Nordic design which arrived in our country in the 50s: blond wood, with very refined flats, an undeniable "zen" side. It opens with 4 drawers on the right, with double silver pull handles. Each drawer is mounted in the traditional way, in dovetail and are in solid wood. The handles are all present and original. The interior is particularly clean and sound - to be used as is. There are just two or three dents in the veneer of two fronts but barely visible and without missing parts (see photos). On the left, a large door that locks with a key (double turns, with its original key, lock and keyhole) opens onto two original shelves, also in oak veneer, mounted on racks and therefore fully adjustable. Again, in superb condition. The top is superb too, with some superficial signs of wear (including a vague, very pale old glass mark). The same goes for the sides, in excellent condition and with very aesthetic wood patterns. In short, a very beautiful piece in very good condition. L: 121 cm. H: 95 cm. D: 46 cm. Inside of a drawer: 50 X 38 X 14.5 cm. Size of a left shelf: 56 X 39 cm. The price is firm, thank you. Delivery possible in Île-de-France and the ground floor only for 40 euros.
