This jug displays a magnificent, intense, and vibrant red, a particularly rare and sought-after colour in the production of Robert Picault (more often known for his green or geometric decorations). Its glossy enamel finish beautifully captures the light and highlights the depth of its glaze. Robert Picault is a key name in 20th-century French ceramics, particularly for his iconic work in Vallauris alongside Picasso. Please note: there is a chip on the edge of the neck, clearly visible in the photos (see the close-ups). The chip is localized. The rest of the bottle is in generally good condition, with a luminous glaze. Despite this chip, it is a very beautiful collectible piece that retains all its decorative interest and rarity.
