Vintage green glazed ceramic pitcher – Grandjean Jourdan Vallauris

Elegant vintage decorative jug in glazed ceramic with a deep emerald green, characterised by a tall and organic silhouette, a long handle, and a very elongated spout. The piece bears a stamp under the base reading "Grandjean Jourdan – Vallauris – Made in France," an iconic manufacturer of Vallauris ceramics from the second half of the 20th century. It has a very beautiful decorative presence with its deep green glaze featuring changing hues and a resolutely modernist line. A typical piece of French ceramic production from the 1950s to 1970s, both sculptural and elegant.
