The Maximeub workshop offers you this beautiful extendable dining table made of cherry wood in the Louis XIII style (or inspired by Country/High Era). It features a magnificent H-shaped base or stretcher base composed of 4 legs connected by crossbars. All elements (legs and stretcher) are finely turned in a beaded design. The original round top is adorned with a lovely corbin beak moulding around the edge. It opens in the middle to accommodate 2 large extensions for hosting friends and family around a good meal for 4 to 8 guests while taking up little space on a daily basis. The marquetry technique of the cherry wood, which creates veining, forms very elegant butterfly wing geometric patterns. This is an excellent high-end reissue, beautifully crafted in artisanal or semi-industrial French manufacture, dating from the 1970s to 1990s. The fact that it is made of solid native wood (cherry and veneer) and features this complex base shows that it was expensive at the original purchase. The top separates from the leg structure, which is not removable. It can be sold in raw wood or we can apply one of the following finishes: matte clear varnish, satin clear varnish, satin medium oak varnish, satin light oak varnish, satin golden oak varnish, or matte dark oak varnish for an additional €80. If you wish to apply a different finish, please account for the price of the pot in addition. Length without extensions 115 cm, length with 2 extensions 223 cm (extensions 2x54 cm), width/diameter 115 cm, height 76 cm.
