This soup tureen features a thistle decoration, an iconic motif of Daniel Étienne's work in Vallauris, recognizable by its stylised foliage and thick glazes with textured effects. An expressive piece with Mediterranean charm, representative of Vallauris ceramics from this period. In good vintage condition. Note: 3 small chips on the inside of the lid, not visible when the soup tureen is closed - everything is visible in the photos. Slight signs of wear consistent with the age of the piece.
