A kinetic op art painting. Barbara Lüdinghausen created in the early 1980s a series of prints based on geometric patterns on aluminum: the drawing reacts to light and the work seems to move as you shift your position. The combination of the two techniques makes it interesting. Her work is inspired by the works of P. Dupré and also Vasarely. Did you know: Patrick Dupré is the inventor of this art in the 1960s: psychedelic kinetic op art, prints on aluminum, holographic or hologram. His works were distributed by the Lahumière editions in Paris in the 1970s-1980s worldwide and exhibited in galleries and museums from 1974 to 1980. He collaborated and created op art/kinetic art prints for Vasarely in 1974. He won the Grand Prix of the Lépine competition in Paris and from the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in 1989. He then specialized in tactile reliefs and Braille for the visually impaired and invented an innovative technique that facilitates accessibility for visually impaired individuals in public places.
