Antique tripod guéridon in mahogany, Central European auxiliary table inspired by Regency, originating from Central Europe and dated around 1930. It comes from Central Europe, from the first half of the 20th century, where furniture inspired by English Regency was reinterpreted with noble woods and elegant proportions. In bourgeois Central European interiors of the early 20th century, tripod guéridons served as auxiliary salon tables, supports for lamps, or surfaces beside an armchair. Their Regency language — a central turned baluster and tripod with fluted legs — evokes British taste from the late 18th century. Constructed from mahogany with an oval top featuring a cut edge, a central turned baluster, and a tripod formed of three fluted legs that arc down to the floor. The construction is slender, and the formal reading remains balanced by the horizontality of the top. Details. Dimensions: Length 59 cm – Depth 40 cm – Height 62 cm. Style: Vintage Regency-inspired.
