Venetian photophore in murano glass blown mouth in a wrought iron cage 1940/50

The glass was blown directly into its wrought iron frame, similar to venetian lanterns. You can use it as is or add a small string to suspend it. The irregularity of the glass as well as the small bubbles prove that this piece is handmade by a craftsman. Unique and rare piece. Good condition, note the traces of wear due to time. "vintage" objects are not new, they have known 1000 lives and they have a history. These items may show signs of wear or use. It is this patina that makes them so precious and thanks to which we recognize their seniority.
