Pièce maîtresse / bol 'Jane' par Ettore Sottsass pour Cor Unum 1999

Very rare 'Jane' center piece / bowl, designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1999 for Cor Unum. It is signed and numbered 4/100 and the original box is with it. We also have the matching 'Tarzan' available and both were acquired from the previous owner of Cor Unum, who owns it from 1998 till its bankruptcy in 2009. Both center pieces were never sold, nor used. New old stock. Originally the production was intended with a limit of 100 pieces each, but due to the bankruptcy of the company in 2009, only about 40 to 50 pieces each were produced, according to the previous owner. Jane is made of ceramic and has a green bowl with conical shaped legs in black. Very hard to find and collectible item. Jane is in good condition. Although it has never been used it has 2 light scratches at the legs and a tiny dent. Furthermore very good.
