Birillo postmodern side table and floor lamp by Parisotto for Fontana Arte, 1980s

Vintage design. Postmodern side table with lighting by the Italian manufacturer Fontana Arte, designed by Parisotto in the 1980s. A rare piece that is hard to find. The design follows a postmodern language of clear geometry. A round glass top rests on a central conical base. The conical base is made of satin blue acrylic glass. From the floor, it is sold with a convex chrome plate. On a shiny chrome surface, the shape of the blue cone is reflected. Another special feature is the lighting inside the base. The table also serves as a luminous object.
