Plate on pedestal, moulded crystal baccarat model ronces | wild rose, 1900

This dish on a pedestal or compote in moulded crystal bearing the BACCARAT signature was already featured in the 1907 catalogue, in the "moulded crystal" section. It is known by two different names: "Ronces" or "Églantier" (wild rose), due to the floral decorations on the edge, and has a base with the characteristic "pointed diamond" pattern of Baccarat. It is a classic piece from the prestigious French manufacture, ideal for adding charm to your tables. The upper part shows some wear but is free from chips or cracks. The foot, which remains completely invisible when placed, has small nicks around the entire edge (see last photo). The photos provide the best description. A superb gift to give.
