beech farmhouse table from France, 1970s. Thick top, tapered pine legs, the combination is straightforward and unembellished. The beech, with its fine grain and warm hue, boasts a thickness of 5 cm with a rounded edge. Something solid and grounded, with brutalist accents that set it apart from ordinary farmhouse tables. The solid pine tapered legs, square in section and narrowing towards the bottom, create a sense of lightness against the top. The base has been reworked by a cabinetmaker to provide a height under the apron of 65 cm, making it comfortable enough to seat ten people without a second thought. The entire piece has been fully restored and finished with a satin varnish. A table that fits within a space without seeking to dominate it. Reference LDP: 20260206-001. Dimensions: L220 × D80 × H79 cm - height under apron 65 cm. Weight approximately 70 kg.
