Chinese sideboard from Shanxi province in solid waxed elm. Mid-20th century. Two doors and interior drawers. Carved motifs on the upper parts of both doors: a deer, symbol of longevity and prosperity, surrounded by floral and arabesque decorations. A cup of abundance, symbol of wealth and blessings, surrounded by arabesque decorations. Beautiful original hazelnut-brown patina. Very good condition.
