Space Age design floor lamp 1970 Shade Ø48cm

Grand Space Age XXL Floor Lamp – 1970 – Oversized Shade Ø48cm. A magnificent 1970s floor lamp with a radical and minimalist design. This piece stands out due to its generous proportions (shade with a diameter of 48 cm), giving it a rare sculptural presence. * Structure: A beautifully crafted cylindrical chrome steel body, mounted on a solid grey lacquered cast iron base. The heavy base provides perfect stability to support the volume of the diffuser. * Diffuser: A significant cylindrical shade made of opal white polymer (non-rigid plastic). Its height of 26 cm and wide diameter of 48 cm ensure optimal, warm, and glare-free light diffusion. The closed shade requires unscrewing, and there is a hole under the shade for changing the screw bulb; an LED bulb is recommended, but a standard one will also work. * Condition: Very good vintage condition. The chrome has retained its shine, and the shade is intact. The lamp has been tested and is fully functional. Dimensions: * Total height: 149 cm. * Shade diameter: 48 cm. * Shade height: 26 cm. An ideal centrepiece to structure a vintage living room or complement a Mid-Century Modern decor. Rare model!!
